R-SHAPER Operation process

Step 1:

First probe the root canal with 10# K file, to make sure exist a glide path, then use 016# PA-FILES to move forward slowly without pressure in pecking motion, exit when feel resistance,and file back with 10#/02 hand use K file to remove debris, then flush and lubricate.

Step 2:

First, Open the upper part of root canal with R# file, move forward slowly without pressure in pecking motion, exit when feel resistance, then use 15#/02 hand use file to check whether the root canal was dredged. Flush and lubricate.

After the use of the open file, the root canal orifice is wider.

Step 3:

Insert 20#/04 root canal file and prepare the apical length to the working length, move forward slowly without pressure in pecking motion, exit when feel resistance,then use 15#/02 hand use file to check root canal patency. Flush and lubricate.

Step 4:

Insert 25#/04 root canal file and prepare the apical length to the working length, move forward slowly without pressure in pecking motion, exit when feel resistance,then use 15#/02 hand use file to check root canal patency. Flush and lubricate.

Optional step: if the working length is reached in a larger root canal, proceed directly to step 6.

Step 5:

Insert 30#/04 root canal file to enlarge the root canal apical part until the preparation reached the working length., move forward slowly without pressure in pecking motion, exit when feel resistance,then use 15#/02 hand use file to check root canal patency. Flush and lubricate.

Step 6:

Insert 25#/04 root canal file to shape the middle part of root canal until the preparation reaches the working length, move forward slowly without pressure in pecking motion, exit when feel resistance,then use 15#/02 hand use file to check root canal patency. Flush and lubricate.

Recommended procedure

For narrow root canals：Step 1, 2, 3

For medium sized root canals: Step 1,2,3,4

For large sized root canals:Step 1,2,3,6,5

Recommended rotation speed: 300rpm

Torque: 2.00-2.50N.cm
